How do I find Inner Peace when Facing Financial Stress

3 Simple Steps on Reducing Financial Stress and Finding Inner Peace…

"No man can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money; for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he must have many things to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with."

Dear Friend,

…Have you ever wondered why some people get rich and some don’t, given the same circumstances? Many put this down to luck and I thought this to be the case too for a long time. However when you read biographies and learn about the characters of wealthy people, you pick up some common traits and realize that it is not down to luck at all. So the point I want to make here is, that for you my friend regardless of the situation you are in today, there is a way to create a more abundant lifestyle than you have now. It all starts with the way you think and act. It all starts with WEALTH CONSCIOUSNESS.

… There is far too much suffering and pain right now in the financial world. If money creates a lot of emotional turmoil for you my friend, it is an indication that you have to do some work on your beliefs about this subject. If you are currently in debt, or feeling financial pressure it didn’t happen in ONE DAY, and so to turn this around will require work, willingness, determination and will of course take more than one day. 😉 However it is possible, many have done it and so can you.

I used to be guilty of worrying a lot about 'how not to be poor' and when I received a bill, how I am going to afford to pay for it. I used to be very emotional about this subject. I looked around and thought – life is unfair. Now when I look back, I truly find this behavior ridiculous, self sabotaging, and even harmful. Without realizing and completely unaware I was creating more lack of money in my life by thinking the wrong or opposite way about this subject.

I was actually repelling money from my life in any possible way I could imagine.

Looking back and through coaching people now I know I was not on my own and many people are thinking in the same way right now. And if this is happening to you my friend, remember its not your fault.

We are conditioned to repel money since our childhood. :) No wonder we are in debt and stressed. Schools or media don't teach the art of wealth creation, quite the opposite.

Thanks to a lot of research, reading countless books and getting to the truth of this subject I was able to create amazing peace and confidence around finances. Though I have peace and confidence, I'm still expanding my WEALTH CONSCIOUSNESS, which would allow me to share and contribute more to the world. In this short article I’ll be not able to give you all the necessary tools; however you can find this as a good start to shift your perspective and make you more of a wealth magnet.

The truth is you are already abundant as you are a part of God, Universe or Source. Look at the nature, how abundantly beautiful it is. The part which limits you from experiencing wealth is your limiting beliefs, which help you to create the limitation also in your outside world, which you then physically experience. Wealth consciousness is the key to everything.

As you may know you are not an isolated entity in the world, so when you look what is happening around you today and if you see your country suffers from the lack of money and is in deep debt, you believe more and more in financial limitation. This will create more and more debt. The thoughts of you and others have a lot of power in the creation process. So how to break this vicious cycle?

The only way to get out of the debt, being personal or impersonal is only by making a shift in your wealth consciousness. The more people improve their wealth consciousness the better for society. So how to do this? We do this by training our minds on focusing on the truth.

I am not saying that we have to close our eyes and look away, but we have to think and act in a different way. We have to use our power of thinking the truth (wealth) regardless of appearances (scarcity). It is the hardest work one can perform, but with the mind training and using your will more frequently it becomes easy. The beginning is the hardest part, as we all know.

Even in the midst of poverty we have to fill our mind with wealth. I know it sounds crazy, but as you may know my friend there wouldn’t be any discoveries made if people would only think what they see. You have to think beyond what you see. It is not easy, however together with your power of will, you can make your mind to focus on things you want and ignore what you don’t.

It is a lot to do with perspective, beliefs and habits. When you can change those, which is a work from within, the outside world will also change as it is the universal law and can’t fail.

3 Simple Steps to Stop the Financial Stress:

#1 Increase awareness and your inner power

To begin with having inner peace regardless of financial situation is to learn how to connect with your abundant, loving and worthy higher self. This is the first step, as without this strong union will be hard to create amazing wealth consciousness.

This will be the first place you will look every time you feel finances are letting you down. As the first step is to eliminate fear from poverty and create confidence and courage that your real self is always abundant and wealthy. Meditation is the way to do it. If you don’t know how, you can pick up my free report on the right hand side, where I give clear instructions for a beginner.

#2 Changing the focus

Write all week long and every single day, how many times you talked or listen to negative stories about finances. When you write down it becomes much easier to become aware about it. Awareness is what will help you to change your focus, so you will be able to catch your mind focusing on poverty and change the focus on wealth.

As you know wealth will not come to you when you think or talk about scarcity.

Avoid talking about financial difficulties to yourself or others for a week. I know it can be hard, especially if this is your favorite subject. However you are in charge of your thoughts my friend, make an effort to focus on what you need with help of your will power.

#3 Building the wealth foundations

At the end of the day write down at least 5 things you can think of that day money provides you with. Feel appreciation and abundance when you think about it. So you can start building a way of appreciation for your current wealth, no matter what it is. This is important statement, no matter what it is.

…Look for things that symbolize wealth for you. You are not on your own and we are all  connected, so when you think of wealth of others think as it belongs to you too, you will exclude any feeling of jealousy or envy by doing so.

Train your mind to feel happy for others enjoying wealth, I know again it may sound crazy, but trust this will become a turning point in your wealth building ability. Give it a go.;)

You can go even so far as collecting symbols of wealth as pictures from magazine or internet and putting them in a box or folder, so it is there for you when you want to remind yourself of wealth. Train your mind to focus exclusively on wealth for a week, ignore the scarcity, even if it surrounds you.

Whatever situation you have there is always a way to turn it around my friend.

Let’s do this together!

Now is your turn, please share your insights, wisdom, concerns or stories in the comment section below. I’d love to hear from you. :)

Amazing as always, Solvita! I just realized how my mind was operating in scarcity recently. I have several blog posts on charity gifts and gifts that give back. When sharing them through social media, I’ve been afraid people are thinking that in this economy, they can’t afford to give to charity.

Your post made me realize it’s wrong to assume someone is a Scrooge. I’m sure there are some out there, but I want to encourage people that we can actually never afford NOT to give. Thanks for helping me get my head on straight!

Hi Amity, yes ~ giving comes from a wealthy mindset… we have to open our minds and stop judging what people can and cannot afford… this is the key to see people as wealthy rather than poor :)

Love, love, love this Solvita! I am continually reminded that our mind can really “make us” or “break us.” Our thoughts have such an impact on us and when it comes to money, we not only have to change the way to do things, but also the way the think about money. Love your tip on changing our focus…how important that is. Thanks for sharing this…it was encouragement to my soul! So thankful for you!

Thank you Jandi, one week is a good start, as we can get the taste of how does it feel and so make the choice to carry on…. normally when we expand our thinking it is hard to go back …

Great tips! It’s true that there is MORE THAN ENOUGH despite how things may feel sometimes. I often get on my keyboards and sing all these songs of thanks and praise and faith to the One who has never failed me. Sometimes the phone rings with a miracle as soon as I get up, sometimes it’s not so obvious, but the atmosphere always becomes charged with faith instead of fear – and I’m always amazed by the Provisions of Abundance.

Kim Hawkins December 7, 2011

I found myself in an anxious financial state not long ago. I was reading Psalm 23 and stopped dead in my tracks as I read, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.” Who was I to argue with the fact that the Lord just told me I shall not want. The a big difference between wants and needs and armed with this renewed thought, I began to act as if all my wants were being met instead of coming from a mindset of scarcity. Our God is big and He’s generous. He wants to lavish his love on us and we will not want for anything. I encourage anyone in this position to break out of their “broke-minded thinking” because thinking like that will just break you in every way.

Reply

Solvita Bennett December 10, 2011

Absolutely Kim, we have to rise above any scarcity we may experience, and switch our thinking to allow wealth appear and come to us through people, opportunities and many other ways. Thank you!

Julie Weishaar December 7, 2011

Hi Solvita, Have you been reading my mind? :) Yes, our thoughts have tremendous power, but in reality, no matter how much we change our thought patterns, if the bills are coming in and the money to pay them isn’t, the bill collectors still want their money, right? With that said, if we change our thought patterns to look at wealth from a non-monetary perspective, we will realize that we ARE wealthy. I have wonderful friends and family that make me rich. From another perspective, when our parents are ailing/aging, we realize that no matter how much money we do or don’t have, that source of “wealth” is all that matters. In my case, my dad is not doing well, and I would trade all the money in the world for his health and to have him around forever!

Reply

Solvita Bennett December 10, 2011

So sorry to hear about your dad Julie. It is so true, what can be more important than health and at the same time without money we can’t get medicine, therefore wealth consciousness is so important to have, so we are able to create income, which can provide us with everything we need and also help others. We don’t live forever in this current body, however we must enjoy our time here. I wish you and your dad all the best. Thank you for your comment ~ appreciate it.

Do whatever it takes to keep your mood high, read my posts, other uplifting materials… you can attract your perfect work only by focusing on the truth (wealth)… thank you!

Edmund Lee December 8, 2011

So often people don’t have a positive attitude toward wealth. As people, if we have any form of jealousy or bad attitudes toward people who have wealth, we will naturally repel that. It’s just not humanly possible to attract something that you don’t even like/look upon positively in the first place.

Reply

Solvita Bennett December 10, 2011

This is how we are conditioned Edmund. It is hard to believe for many that it is great to have a lot of money and be wealthy, however for evolution we need wealth. This is such a big subject and to change our thinking requires some time. There is nothing that can stop us to attract wealth, when our brain expects it without a shadow of a doubt! Thank you! :)

What a wonderful writer you are. Blessing upon you for giving the gift of your writing. I am working at aligning my core values with symbols that I love. My first two values are Unity and Justice. The third one is peace which I connect to with St. Francis of Assisi. I love writing about how to find inner peace. In this way I get to have returned to me that which I find of real value. Love that there are others out there who are committed to sharing their journey into this inner peace that untimately can take us beyond opposites to that peace beyond logic that is beyond understanding.

Inner peace is the key to everything. With a calm and confident approach we all can make much better choices and truly enjoy life beyond understanding! We can be intelligent, we can be physically strong, we can be spiritual, however if there is no balance between the three, we will suffer a lot in one way or another…

we have a saying in Hebrew which comes from Pirke Avos, the Words of our Fathers from the Bible—- “eyzeh hoo ashir, hasameach b’chelko” (my transliteration is probably off!) — who is rich– he who is happy with what we has (roughly translated). No matter how my finances are in a given month or year, I just try to stay positive about it and realize that financially things can change in an instant and I always have a roof above my head and food in my tummy.
