Find Inner Calm – Checking Quality Of Your Thoughts.

How to filter ideas given to you from outside by checking quality of your thoughts…

There are ideas flowing to us daily from many sources…

  • Do you pay attention and quality of the thoughts in your head before accepting the new ideas as your own?
  • Do you filter, examine and decide if the idea is helpful or harmful to you?

We all are given thoughts and ideas from outside as soon as we are born, starting with family, then society, friends, media…So we start to accepting them as our own and creating our beliefs, which in turn become part of us. So why do we have to examine those thoughts and beliefs if we want to create inner peace and life worth living?

In fact our thoughts and attitude can be spread through our minds, make an enormous impact in the world…and if they are not beneficial and positive, you can only guess what the impact can be. Just looking back in history we have evidence of the impact ideas can create, and how those ideas can be spread quickly and in a devastating way.

It all starts with you and the way you go about cleaning your mind from harmful thoughts and replacing those with different beneficial and positive..with accepting new ideas by checking the quality first.

It requires and effort to examine the quality of your thoughts, as most of the time especially if they are received and confirmed as truth from our family, it is not easy to detect them, as they  become a part of who we are. They can be good or bad, but if they are running our head, they can stop us from doing what we are supposed to do to become the greatest we can become…

The thoughts like: "I'll always be as I am, nothing can change, I'm poor and will be poor, I'm addicted, overweight, nothing can help me, and there is not enough to go around, I don't deserve to be happy…"

These thoughts are just running in the background  by creating a background happiness or background unhappiness and you might be so used to them that you don't even notice.

The change can only happen when you start listening to them and check the quality. When you make an effort and listen to what your head is telling you, you become aware. Once you become aware it is easy to notice the same thought appearing as a pattern in your thinking. Most of the time we think the thoughts which are hidden deep within our subconscious mind and it becomes as a habit. You will be surprised of the discovery you can make by observing and examining your thoughts so closely, that they will start to change.

It is often that no work is required to do once you detect those toxic thoughts, as when we become aware of them it's like putting them in the light, so they dissolve as darkness dissolves in light.
