Awaken Your Willpower and Connect to Your Positive Inner Calm

How to Awaken and Use Your Willpower Right NOW.

"With but view exceptions, it is always the underdog who wins through sheer willpower."

Johnny Weissmuller

…Today my friend, I'm going to write about the greatest power in the world – Will Power. In the last article I wrote about focusing our mind, I also suggested using our Will Power. I'm going to share with you some secrets and how you can awaken your Will Power and make it supreme and strong… so you can use it when needed with ease.

…Will Power is the greatest power in the world that is concerned with human accomplishment and no one can in advance determine its limits.

Will Power is a force that is strictly practical, yet it is difficult to explain just what it is. It can be compared to electricity because we know it only through its cause and effect. It is a power we can direct and to the extent we direct it we do determine our future. You use your Will Power every time you accomplish something. Will puts your back-bone where your wish-bone is now. Your Will Power is divine energy and therefore is your supreme Power.

…Let a man be in danger of losing freedom, or mother protecting her child, or a women be in danger of losing a great love – and you will witness a startling exhibition of Will Power from unexpected source, and yet the same people will lack the will to perform the simpliest task.

Your Will heals disease, drives poisons out of the system, builds mind, controls thoughts, sweeps misfortunes aside. There is nothing that can’t be accomplished when you use your Will Power. Will is the glory of the Divine universe and you are part of that Will. You can put your Will into command.

When we can’t accomplish what we want it is not because we don’t have enough Will Power, but because we don’t have enough desire and so we can’t exert our Will Power. Strong Will follows strong Desire. If you really want to do something very much, you can usually develop Will Power to accomplish it.

Our mind needs to be trained to receive and act upon the suggestions of the Will. Nobody denies the power of a strong Will and all see how it may be used to overcome the greatest of obstacles. However what we don’t realize is that we can strengthen it. When I say strengthening the willpower what I really mean is actually training the mind to recognize and absorb the Power Within.

The secret of Will is a magic key which opens all doors…

Let's look at 2 Simple Tips to make your Will Power Supreme and Strong:

#1 Once you finish reading this article use this affirmation or autosuggestion: “I am using my Will Power.” These words are only words and will not help unless you back them with the thought. So really think about your will power when you say them. Repeat as often as you can during the day and before sleep, especially when you need to use your will power during the day. So think of what you are saying, and mean what you say. You must use Faith at the start, and use the words with a confident expectation of the result. Hold the steady thought that you are drawing on your store of Will Power, and before long you will find that thought is taking form in action, and that your Will Power is manifesting itself. You will feel an influx of strength with each repetition of the words. You will find yourself overcoming difficulties and bad habits, and will be surprised at how things are being smoothed out for you.

#2 I would like you also perform at least one task each day for a whole month, which you would normally avoid. Something that is not pleasant or you don’t want to do. It requires Will Power to do a task which is unpleasant – cheerfully. Every person can do pleasant tasks cheerfully, it requires a strong Will to do unpleasant ones, with the same attitude. You will see your Will Power strengthen like never before.

…. Will Power is a form of mental energy, but requires the proper mental attitude to make it manifest. We hear of people having supreme Will Power. Let me remind you – there is plenty for all. :) What we speak of as Will Power is but the gathering together of mental energy, the concentration power at a single point.

So my friend – never think that person as having a stronger Will than yours. Each person will be supplied with just the amount of Will Power that he or she demands. You don't have to develop Will Power if you constantly make use of all you have, and remember the way in which you use it determines your fate. Your life is created to a greater extent by the use you make of your Will. Unless you make proper use of it you have neither independence nor firmness. You are unable to control yourself and become a mere machine for others to use.

It is more important to learn to use your Will Power than to develop your intellect. People that have not learned how to use their Will rarely decide things for themselves, but allow their resolutions to be changed by others. They fluctuate from one opinion to another, and of course do not accomplish anything out of the ordinary, while those and you with the trained will take their place among the world's leaders.

You can connect to your Positive Inner Calm every time you use Will Power. With Will Power you can direct your thoughts to what YOU want! Let's do it together!

Please share your thoughts in the comment section below. I'd love to hear from you! :)

Excellent Solvita … human ‘will power’ becomes instinctive! The more we use it the stronger the instinct will be! Athletes are a great example of individuals who typically have very strong will power… Great article! Thank you, Hughie

Brilliant Solvita! I am taking your challenge and for one month I am going to “will” my “power” and exercise on my treadmill for 15 minutes each day! Thanks for the reminder that I CAN DO IT! :)

I have pretty good will power as long as things go according to schedule. The problem is usually when the unusual happens, then I become side-tracked. Thanks for the good info about the power of will.

When unusual happens that is when you have to use all the wisdom and knowledge! Life is full of unusual circumstances, changes, risks and challenges… this is how it is, as soon as we become OK with it, everything falls into place 😉

Thank you Jennifer!… I love the practical approach to life ~ words don’t teach, only life experiences do. What a beautiful article, Solvita. It is always about mind over matter and discipline. One problem I have: I don’t relish my accomplishments anymore. I need to sit back and enjoy them before moving to the next task/goal. And, at the same time, spend less time dwelling on failures–just learn and move on. Thank you Solvita for the inspiration!

Reply

Solvita Bennett September 21, 2011

Very good approach Jeff – move forwards! Great – don’t look back as there is nothing you can change anyway – live in the moment and enjoy – moment by moment by moment!!

I have always believed that you can develop will power by practicing discipline in your life. Once you train yourself to do what you would prefer not to do (such as working late, studying, etc.) you gain a sense of control that you can build on. Thanks for such a thought-provoking post.

Reply

Solvita Bennett September 24, 2011

Yes John we need a lot of will power for self-discipline, as long as we do the things we normally avoid – cheerfully, our will becomes like an instinct and we can achieve more than an ordinary person can.

‘Will puts your back-bone where your wish-bone is now.’ I think that today many people confuse these two after having experienced seeming defeat and failure over and over. Yet you so clearly describe the necessity of clarifying our true desire–because if we desire in opposition to our stated goals we’ll never get there. Thanks for such a clear post on this!

I love this, what this lady wrote is a perfect example of strong and weak, i want to succeed and i will use my will power to make myself succeed, why fail first and then whake up? control your future, learn from your mistakes and keep a clear veiw on where you are heading for in life, admit when you failed and blame yourself, this is when you will stand up and avoid any problems you previously came across in your life, never lie down in self pity because you will not stand up again.

Great article. It reminds me a lot of a book of the book “Dynamic thought or the Law of vibrant energy” by W.W Atkinson. This is the key people trying to use the LOA are missing. Our purposes must be driven by a strong determination (will) to succeed.
Thanks

Reply

Solvita Bennett March 24, 2013

Hi Josh, thanks for stopping by! Absolutely, merely wishing will not get you results and so success. To have amazing results we have to use energy, which we can access through our strong will and determination. This is exactly what sets apart those who can win let’s say in sports. The physical abilities may be the same, however the person who knows how to draw upon the will and will use it, has the power added and so can at times even perform in a way people see it as miracles.
